
Kimberly Caton, M.Ed., ALC is an Associate Licensed Counselor. She earned a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Troy University, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Ms. Caton has more than 25 years of experience working with children and adolescents. Clinically, she focuses on anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, PANS/PANDAS, school related issues, peer relationships, social skills, family conflict, as well as other mental health issues. She believes that it is important for children and adolescents to receive the support they need at an early age so they can learn to manage their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build strong relationships.
Ms. Caton also works with adults in areas including anxiety, depression, managing stress, trauma related issues, parenting, family conflict, marital or relationship issues, as well as other life stressors. She understands the challenges that adults encounter while trying to balance work, life, family, and other responsibilities and recognizes the courage it takes to seek help during difficult times.
Ms. Caton is passionate about helping others and considers it a special privilege to walk alongside them in the midst of their difficult circumstances. It is her desire to provide a warm, caring environment that fosters personal growth and healing. She is committed to providing support and encouragement to her clients while helping them learn new skills and empowering them to make positive changes in their lives. She uses a client centered approach and provides counseling services that are adapted to the needs of each individual client.
She currently accepts child/adolescent Medicaid, as well as self-pay.
