Daniela von Entress-Larmay, M.S., ALC

Daniela von Entress-Larmay is an Associate Licensed Counselor with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and a M.S. in Counseling from Troy University.

Daniela enjoys working with adults, children, and teens, as well as families with infants. Daniela has experience working with a wide range of presenting issues, including, but not limited to:

  • Attachment Disorders/Infant Mental Health (0-5 Years Old)
  • Post-Partum Depression
  • Pregnancy Related Mental Health Issues
  • Parenting/Behavioral Problems
  • Body Image Disorders
  • Anxiety/Depression
  • ADHD
  • OCD

As an Infant Mental Health counselor, she works with both the child and caregivers, focusing on clients from zero to five years old. She has taken extensive coursework in attachment, bonding, and early childhood development. Daniela also has experience working with mothers coping with postpartum depression and other pregnancy related mental health issues. She is passionate about helping young families navigating the journey of raising children and developing healthy attachment patterns for the emotional well-being of their children.

Based on the needs of the client, treatment modalities may include: play therapy, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, person-centered approaches, family therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT).

Daniela’s goal is to help adults and children to reach their highest potential so they and their families can live more harmonious and happier lives together. She believes that with the necessary tools and skills at our disposal, we can gain a deeper understanding of our emotions, triggers, and unhealthy relationship patterns; find ways to balance life stressors and challenges; and live up to our full potential to create the lives we envision for ourselves. Her empathy and warmth help to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can process and heal.

She currently accepts child/adolescent Medicaid, as well as self-pay.
