Lori Chancy, M.S., LPC, NCC, MLAP has over 19 years of experience as counselor. She graduated with B.S. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Southern Maine, and her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Troy University. She has experience in both inpatient, outpatient, and in-home settings, substance abuse programs, as well as private practice. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, and addictions and compulsive behaviors. She works with individuals, couples, families, and children/adolescents. She is eclectic in her approach, but specifically uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy, DBT, Rogerian, and Imago for couples counseling, but the goal is the same for all— to help clients be their best version of themselves.

While I understand the difficulties of asking another for help, I also know the immeasurable benefits and sense of empowerment that comes from facing life’s obstacles head on and working toward solutions. I am here to help you find your way to those solutions.
